Stress urinary incontinence laser treatment

Precisely controlled laser-induced thermal effects that stimulate collagen neogenesis and remodeling in the mucosa tissue (in the region of the vestibule and urethral orifice, as well as in the area along the anterior vaginal wall). The end result of the treatment is non-ablative photothermal tension, shrinkage and tightening of the tissue in the urethral and anterior bladder wall region and the return of normal continence function.

Laser vaginal tightening

The treatment is based on a laser energy pulses to the vaginal mucosa tissue. The precisely controlled energy pulses are designed to induce thermal effects in the vaginal tissue, stimulating collagen remodeling and the synthesis of new collagen fibers. The end result of collagen neogenesis and remodeling is tightening of the vaginal canal.

Vaginal atrophy laser treatment

It is based on non-ablative photothermal treatment of the vaginal canal. Clinical studies show that it is an efficient, easy-to-use, quick and safe procedure, eliminating the need for long-term estrogen administration.

The treatment is based on laser-induced controlled mild heating of the vaginal tissue, which stimulates angiogenesis, fibroblast activity and new collagen formation, without thermal or ablative damage. The final result is increased epithelial thickness as well as vascularization of the lamina propria, along with a reduction of symptoms such as dryness, itching, irritation and dyspareunia.

Laser Treatment for stress urinary incontinence & vaginal relaxation syndrome

The laser has a non-ablative photothermal heating effect on collagen in the vaginal walls, causing restructuring and stimulation of new collagen synthesis. This causes a tightening of the vaginal canal and subsequently greater sexual satisfaction or, with IncontiLase, a tightening of the anterior vaginal wall region, which gives greater support to the bladder and the return of normal continence function.

The procedures are incisionless and virtually painless, with no ablation, cutting, bleeding, or sutures. A special handpiece, similar to a speculum as used during a Pap test, is inserted into the vagina. The vaginal region is then treated with subablative laser pulses. Two laser sessions with a one-month interval are recommended. No special pre-op preparations or post-op precautions are necessary. The patient can immediately return to normal everyday activities.

Pelvic floor dysfunction

Symptoms of age – and childbirth-related pelvic floor dysfunction, such as urinary incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse, affect hundreds of millions of women worldwide.

Connective tissue in the vaginal walls is an important factor in pelvic organ support. Symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction mainly arise from laxity in the vagina or its supporting ligaments, due to increasing age and vaginal childbirth. The laser treatment is a non-invasive non-ablative laser procedure for functional strengthening of connective tissue inside the vaginal wall, improving the pelvic floor support and diminishing symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction.

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP)

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is a common problem, affecting almost 50% of parous women to some degree. The treatment is an innovative and unique non-invasive laser alternative for the treatment of POP. It utilizes the gentle, nonablative photothermal effects mode to tighten the tissue and contract the vaginal canal. Preliminary clinical studies show that it is an efficient, easy-to-perform and safe procedure.
