Which filler will be used?

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers are the best choice for most indications. They are safe, well tolerated, and they exist in a variety of presentations.

PMMA, Silicon gels and other permanent fillers do not allow us to reach the same levels of finesse, and most of them are banned after been considered hazardous to one’s health.

We use only reputable brands, but fillers are in constant evolution and we do not limit our choices to a company, but to offer our patients the best current options.

What’s New About Fillers?

The Injectables field has been through constant innovation. Fillers are now placed into different anatomic levels, layers and depths. Some of them have to be very thin and moldable, while others have to be dense enough for giving the skin support and others have to be coherent enough to shape every minimal detail. They have to emulate the bone, fat or skin.

What about Special Techniques? Do they follow M.D. codes?

Our doctors compromise with continuous enhancement and training. They understand the trends, nonetheless don’t limit their techniques to industry standards. They also follow international guidelines of Dermatology and Plastic Surgery and are vastly experienced in these skills.

How much should I use and how long they last?

The amount depends in the indication of treatment. A Lip filler may demand a different number of vials, depending on your features and desires.

For a full facial contouring we can use up to several vials.

Remember, 1 vial contains 2 pea sizes of hyaluronic acid. It takes around 15 vials to fill up a soup spoon.

Subtle changes can use small quantities, but to change facial feature you might need more.

The average duration of hyaluronic acid is 9-12 months. Some of them can last up to 3 years, especially in the tear through areas. Hyaluronic acid also helps to create more collagen, so repeated applications can also lead to a natural rejuvenation of the skin.
